Perfume Notes: Leslie Blodgett Golden Light, Island Michael Kors Bermuda, Pure DKNY
Don't you just love hitting up Sephora and the mall and spritzing every available square inch of arm real estate with something new?
Sure, you'll smell like a perfume factory by the end of the day, and strangers will think you're wiping your nose on your arm as you wander around sniffing yourself, but hey, it's fun. My thoughts on three scents I've tried in recent days:

'Tis the Season for Solid Perfume Rings
Solid perfume rings seem to be cropping up everywhere these days! Last year brought us the Marc Jacobs Daisy ring, and now we have new baubles from Michael Kors, Marc Jacobs and Kat Von D.
What do you think of these oversized scented jewels? You know how much I love solid perfumes, so I just had to share, even though I probably won't be buying any of these. They're all around a size 7, and they

Hit the Red Carpet with Very Hollywood Michael Kors
You've got to hand it to Michael Kors. The man has created an empire around this concept of casual elegance, easy luxury, and the jet-setter lifestyle (is it me, or is there a jet in the background of EVERY one of his ad campaigns?).
Michael, the fragrance, was perfectly in line with the brand, too - casual but forward, classic with a twist (come on, we all know it smelled a little bit like good

Office Romance: Michael Kors Mini Leg Shine
One of my favorite quick fixes for pale, dry legs is Michael Kors Leg Shine (in fact, I think this marks the fourth time I've written about it!). This solid, shimmery bronze stick allows for hands-free application, and adds just a touch of sheer color and shine to legs. And of course, it's scented with the delicious sandy tuberose goodness of Michael Kors. On hot summer nights, that's all the

7 Ways To Get Bronzed Legs...Without Self Tanner
Let's face it, even the most dedicated among us occasionally slack off in the faux tan department. And while our upper bodies tend to get some natural sun from daily activities, the legs are another story. If you're going for the overall pale look, fine -- but if the rest of you is even slightly sun-kissed, letting your legs return to their original fishbelly white in the summertime is a major

Get Ready For Summer!
I can't believe it's Memorial Day weekend already! And you know what that means...the official start of beach season. My friend B and I will be spending our weekends lounging in the Hamptons, natch. And here's what I'll be taking along:Neutrogena Fresh Cooling Body Mist Sunblock: this has got to be one of the BEST innovations in suncare. It feels amazing going on, smells fresh and clean, easily

Rollin' With Michael Kors
Last holiday season, I was completely obsessed with solid perfumes. I wrote about so many of them that eventually I had to give them their own category on the blog! Whether embellished or plain, hidden in a ring or dipped in gold, I wanted them ALL.That fever has now subsided (well, only a little), but I've moved on to yet another perfume-related addiction: rollerballs.Rollerballs are perfect for

Escape to Capri With a Little Help from Michael Kors
Winter has truly arrived here in New York (it was a truly awful 20 degrees over the weekend), and one of the few things that consoles me is that I've been test-driving some very summery scented goodies from Michael Kors.Island Capri is the third limited edition flanker in the Island series (following Island Fiji andIsland Hawaii, which was one of my top picks for "beachy scents" last summer).

Five Favorites: Life's a Beach
Remember that episode of Seinfeld where Kramer came up with the idea for "The Beach" fragrance and Calvin Klein ripped off his idea? Well, it looks like more than one perfumer might owe Larry David & Jerry Seinfeld some royalties, because "beachy" fragrances are now ubiquitous. It's Memorial Day weekend, the official start of beach season, so let's take a look at some of my favorite sandy scents:

Nice Stems
While walking over to Saks over lunch earlier this week, I had a minor celebrity sighting: Wendie Malick, better known as the neurotic aging model Nina van Horn from Just Shoot Me.At 55, she looked amazing - very skinny, very tall, very Upper East Side chic.Beauty Addict was envious of her legs and hopes to have toned stems like that when she hits 55.It's skirt weather now and time to buff up

Tinkerbell Was Here
Summer is fast approaching, friends. Miniskirt season. Camisole season. Bathing suit season. In other words, the season of bare skin.I am willing to bet that while many of us have little respect for J. Lo's line of "Glow" fragrances, all of us secretly want to look like the girls in the ads. Lithe, glowy, and shimmery - almost as if something luminescent is being emitted straight from their pores
