Taiwan-based Fonestock Technology is cooperating with Chunghwa Telecom (CHT) to push sales of its newly released software solutions for receiving real-time stock market information via the iPhone 3G as well as Android- and Windows Mobile-based smartphones, according to the company.
Since the software solutions are also able to pick up real-time market information available on the stock markets in the US and China, Fonestock intends to start marketing the solutions to these two markets later in the second half, the company said.
Fonestock posted net losses of NT$29.87 million (US$913,500) in 2008, and the company expects its operations to swing back to profits in 2009.
