Add Some Sheen to Your Skin With Sephora Dry Oil Spray

If you haven't yet been convinced that I'm pretty unwilling to let go of summer, based on some recent posts, this one will definitely put you over the edge (and yes, I'm aware that we're into November now).I was browsing around Sephora recently and had warm weather on my mind. Again. I was looking for something vacation-worthy, and when I meandered over to the Sephora brand bath & body display, I

Dylans Candy Bar Re-Treat Cupcake Collection...YUM

I'm back!! After having no laptop for what seems like months (in reality it was over 4 weeks!) I am finally able to browse cupcake sites galore again!!!

While checking my mail, my latest mail from the ever fab Sephora alerted me to a range of goodies they stock from Dylans Candy Bar Retreat:

From a simple candy shop to a state-of-the-art, flagship store in New York City, Dylan's Candy Bar pioneers the concept of merging the worlds of art, popular culture, and fashion with a universal treat: candy. Created by Dylan Lauren (daughter of designer Ralph Lauren), Dylan's Candy Bar now introduces Re-Treat, a decadent bath collection formulated with natural, top-of-the-line ingredients and fragranced with the scrumptious notes found at the Dylan's Candy Bar brick-and-mortar stores. Re-Treat is truly an indulgence for the senses that will satisfy your sweet tooth and nourish your skinwithout any guilt.

And yes that's right they have a whole Chocolate Cupcake collection!!! Yumminess!
Enjoy unlimited servings of the Dylan's Candy Re-Treat Chocolate Cupcake Collection to indulge your love of chocolate and silky-smooth, pampered skin. From a delectable body butter to a far-from-sticky sugar scrub, enjoy each indulgent body treat made calorie free and without any harmful chemicals.

I shall definitely be getting some of the cupcake collection and I like the sound of the Birthday Cake Batter collection too - I can just imagine how great they smell!

Can't wait to get back to NY and visit Dylan's again - a shop Manny enjoyed for a change too!

Irrational Thoughts About Sephora by OPI

More than a few of you have written in over the past weeks to ask my opinion on the new, much buzzed-about Sephora by OPI nail polishes. The reason I haven't discussed them is quite foolish, really. You see, there is a polish in that display that reminds me of a wretched, wretched candy. Which, in turn, reminds me of something else. This polish (not the one pictured here) is the exact same color as

Cupcakes, Sephora, More Shopping..oh my!

Thanks to All Things Cupcake for alerting me to Sephora's new Vanilla Cupcake Body Collection and to the fact that if you sign up for their beauty insider programme you get a freebie cupcake bubble bath on your birthday, which is rather spiffy as I'm in NY for my birthday where the fantastic HUGE Sephora is (and is probably my nearest one now they're no longer in the UK...boo). I've signed up already, be warned you need a USA zip code (I used a friends!)

Manny if you're reading this guess where we're going on my birthday ;)

Kat Von D for Sephora: Brushed With Silver, Rosy Greatness

When it comes to makeup brushes, I have three criteria: I like them to be soft, I like them to be well-shaped, and I like them to be pretty. This is why my brush collection consists of Smashbox brushes with their bright, shiny red handles, and oodles of silver and gold handled MAC holiday brushes. If you're looking to add to your own collection, I submit for your consideration these lovely brushes

Someone in Marketing Should Be in Trouble

When Sephora first launched the "Sephora Piiink" line, all I could think of was a certain character from The Lord of the Rings yammering on about "my precious!" It does sound like that, no? But I chalked it up to the company trying to be young and playful and reach out to a more youthful market. But now, it appears that the geniuses behind Piiink are actually trying to reposition a brown eyeliner
