Tarts on the tele!

No not an annoying programme with Billie Piper but those my favourite cupcake chaps from Outsider Tart are going to be on Rachel Allen's new Bake! series on UKTV Food at 9pm on Wednesday 15th October at 9pm.

Primrose Bakery were on episode 1 but I didn't see them - there is a cupcake recipe for some rather nice sounding lemon cupcakes on the site from them though.

Looking forward to seeing what the Davids cook for us on the 15th!

Also just HAD to mention the programme which is on after Bake!, Ace of Cakes, featuring the cakes of Charm City Cakes - on tonight's show they make a Fist of Rock cake for a wedding groom which featured the MANOWAR logo which I have tattooed on my arm!!! You can't see it in the pic but I can't find another! It also featured a HUGE cupcake tower!! Great show!
ALL HAIL MANOWAR!

Cupcake Customisation

Tshirt Patisserie offer to customise your cupcakes - you can choose from chocolate, pink velvet and lemon and they come in a rather spiffy looking box!

They cost 24.95 for a box of twelve! I tried out the online customisation tool -my Manowar cupcakes look a bit ropey, the picture was too big and it's cut poor Joey's head off, but my I heart cupcake ones look kinda cute!

They also do tshirts and dresses that you can put anything you want on :)

All hail Manowar!

and my adorable friend Renee, and of course cupcakes!!!

I don't think there was anyone in the world luckier than me last week when a HUGE parcel arrived from the States for me from my lovely chum Renee. I almost died when I opened it - inside was a veritable feast of cupcake goodness.

First and foremost she had hand-made me the most fantastic handbag from a tshirt of my favourite band in the world MANOWAR and some cupcaketastic material she'd found! How cool is it!!! Seriously I don't think I've ever received such a cool gift!! The only thing that could better it would be Joey De Maio covered in frosting but hey I couldn't carry my shopping in him ;)
All hail Renee :)

Manowar cupcakes!!!!

Second to my love of cupcakes is my love of Manowar (well they're probably equal - cover Joey in frosting and they might just edge ahead!!!) and I simply have to have these cupcake toppers - the description alone sells them to me....

Hail and kill! Twelve handmade cake toppers, six of each design you see here. Mini viking helmets and battle axes, perfect for a football game or to watch Manowar videos. Also available as a DIY kit, see listing for details.

Hail and Kill is my Myspace name - its like kismet or whatever the word is!

Check out Bake and Destroy at their Etsy page, or if you live in Chicago you can visit the Bleeding Heart Bakery
