I LOVE a tanner with some SPF. You can slather it on in the morning and go about your day knowing that not only are you protected from the sun, but you'll be tan by dinnertime!
Victoria's Secret Beach Sexy Daily Glow Gradual Tan Moisturizer SPF15 is the reincarnation of VS's last gradual tanner, Bare Bronze Daily Glow. That one was a favorite of mine for both scent and effectiveness, so I was

VS Cocoa Butter Sensuous Escape Body Mist
Since we're not getting Bath & Body Works here in Hawaii until March 2011, my go-to destination for aimless bath product browsing is Victoria's Secret. (Yes, I frequent Sephora on the regular, but don't you have those days when you're all, "I just want to buy a $9 body spray, dammit?")
Now, I know I used to crap on Victoria's Secret Beauty--I was bummed when they revamped and pulled outside

Victoria's Secret Expands Secret Moments Line
More new goodies from Victoria's Secret this week! Remember last year I gave you the scoop on the new Secret Moments bath & body line from VS? Well, it finally had its official launch this past spring, with just five of the scents that I spotted the first time around: Island Escape, Good Day Sunshine, Room 504, At First Sight, and Girls' Night In.

New from Victoria's Secret: Secret Garden Fresh Collection
Victoria's Secret has added three limited-edition scents to its Secret Garden Collection, under the Fresh Collection banner:
Sheer Love is a blend of watery fruit and bright blooms. Pretty generic sweet fruity floral, but I did get a hint of, hmmm, possibly children's chewable vitamins, with this one. Personally, I'm not in love, sheer or otherwise.
Leave Me Breathless, composed of ocean

From the Guilty Pleasure Files...Victoria's Secret Luscious Kisses
Luscious Kisses is one of the latest offerings in the ever-popular Secret Garden collection at Victoria's Secret. I spotted it while perusing the semi-annual sale, and it instantly transported me back to a simpler, more carefree time.
Childhood.
And not because this fragrance smells "kiddie," but because it smells like...doll heads.
Yes, doll heads. Or the dolls themselves, in their entirety.

Five for Friday: The Forgotten (Travel Essentials)
Don't you just hate it when you go on a trip and forget some truly critical beauty goods? I tend to forget the same things every time, for various reasons, which I'll explain below. Check out my five most forgotten items, and my favorites in each category:Lip Balm. Oh, I always pack plenty of glosses, and sometimes some lipsticks, but good old lip balm? I always forget it. Let's face it - even

VS Secret Moments...Shhh, Still a Secret
I've posted a couple of tirades in the past about the declining quality, and increasing juvenility, of Victoria's Secret bath and body items. I detested the new PINK line and could do without Beauty Rush, while old favorites seemed to be disappearing. But a couple of weeks ago I strolled into a Victoria's Secret store and was pleasantly surprised by an entire table of new beauty goodies that I

Tiny Treats: VS Mini Hand Sanitizers
Longtime readers will know that I have a major weakness for hand sanitizers (the alcohol-based ones, I should note, not the triclosan-based ones that supposedly contribute to the development of superbugs).Anyhow, yeah, obsessed. Especially with hand sanitizers that smell nice and come in wee little bottles that I can throw in all my purses and stash all around the house and office.Last year I

All my life I've been waiting for someone and when I find her, she's... she's a fish*
I'm conflicted, friends. And I'm not talking about the 2008 election, my next major bag purchase, or even what I'll have for dinner tonight.I'm conflicted about body splashes/sprays/mists/spritzes...whatever you want to call them. (And just to be clear: I'm not talking about the Marc Jacobs splashes. At $65 a pop, they don't really qualify under this category!)You see, I want to be serious about

Be Sure to Wear Some Flowers in Your Hair
You know I like to rag on Victoria's Secret Beauty every now and again (see this post), but I have to admit that I've been a devotee of the So Sexy hair product range since its inception. What keeps me coming back for more? The scent.I love a good smelling shampoo, but what I love even more is when the scent actually sticks around after you've lathered, rinsed and repeated. Herbal Essences and

Victoria's Secret Has Pulled a Bait and Switch
What's up with Victoria's Secret these days? Not only has the lingerie line begun to skew super-young, with oodles of cutesy pink cotton things that say PINK across the arse, the beauty section has gone completely nuts.I was so excited a couple of years ago when Victoria's Secret Beauty announced that it would begin carrying a host of other brands, from Fekkai and Stella McCartney to DuWop and

Fake Bake Month: Victoria's Secret Bare Bronze Daily Glow Moisturizer
And...we have a winner in the scent category! Victoria's Secret Bare Bronze is the only self tanning product that has ever garnered compliments FOR THE SMELL. I've been using the Daily Glow Moisturizer, a gradual tanner, and it has this amazing, beachy, coconutty scent. It's fantastic layered with my new favorite warm weather scent, Creed Virgin Island Water.Bare Bronze Daily Glow has the texture

A Good Shave is Hard to Find
Pants season is upon us, but that's no excuse to neglect your legs! The cold weather calls for a heavy-duty shaving product that's up to the task - rich and moisturizing without making a foamy, perfumey mess of your shower. (Regular readers will know that regular old drugstore shaving creams are given no quarter in my shower; I've never been a fan of their messiness, or their scents, which I find

Victoria's Secret Very Sexy Launch
Have you seen the new Very Sexy makeup collection from Victoria's Secret? I snuck a peek in July's Allure and was smitten. The packaging is sleek and modern, and the shades I saw were quite pretty. What with the recent good buzz and raves over VS's BareBronze line, I'm expecting Very Sexy to make a splash. The new line - "the sexiest color on earth," natch - will debut August 1 at 22 stores in the

Guilty Pleasures: Dream Angels Heavenly
I must admit that after many years I still hold a special place in my heart for Dream Angels Heavenly from Victoria's Secret. It's kind of silly...I wore it in high school, when we all thought it was so cool to start shopping at Victoria's Secret. Not only did we have to have the bras and undies, but the perfume, the body lotions, and the mints as well. In school, you could always count on
