Right before my trip to Hawaii, my two-month old highlights were looking a little sad, so I hunted in the beauty closet for something that would give my hair a little lift.
I picked up L'Oreal Colorist Secrets Shine Gloss, which I was hoping would do the trick - it's a clear glaze you apply at home, leave on for 10 minutes, and rinse off. It's similar to Clairol Shine Happy, with which I had

More Scrublet Action: L'Oreal Go 360 Clean Deep Cream Cleanser
On the heels of my recent escapades (and love affair) with L'Oreal Go 360 Clean Deep Exfoliating Scrub, I grabbed another cleanser from the line to try out. This one is the Deep Cream Cleanser, the opaque white one with the pink scrublet.
And unfortunately, my results with this one just weren't as good. The cleanser feels great on skin at first, but I got just a touch too close to my eye, and...

L'Oreal Go 360 Clean Deep Exfoliating Scrub
Scrublet. It sounds...cute, doesn't it? Like niblet, or capelet, or tartlet. I like it, and I think it was a stroke of genius on L'Oreal's part, coining the word scrublet for its built-in face scrubbing tool.
I've been testing out L'Oreal Skin Expertise Go 360 Clean Deep Exfoliating Scrub. It comes with a scrublet, which has given me ample opportunity to use the word with unnecessary frequency.

L'Oreal Sublime Bronze: A New Everyday Favorite
I may have gone away for a while over the summer, but my self-tanner obsession continued at full blast. And I've found one that's become quite the staple in my beauty closet.L'Oreal has marketed several formulations of self-tanner over the years, under the Sublime Glow and Sublime Bronze names. The one we're talking about today is the Sublime Bronze Luminous Self-Tanning Lotion. You'll recognize

Cheap Thrills: 8 Drugstore Beauty Bargains
Wallet feeling the strain these days? Check out some of my favorite drugstore beauty bargains, most for $10 and under:1. Vaseline Cocoa Butter Vitalizing Gel Body Oil ($7.49) is an amazing body moisturizer, and smells deliciously of cocoa butter and almond. In the winter, it's perfect for combating super dry skin, and for hot summer nights, it adds a rather fetching sheen to legs and shoulders.2

Fake Bake Month: L'Oreal Sublime Glow Daily Moisturizer
L'Oreal Sublime Glow Daily Moisturizer was another popular reader request for Fake Bake Month, and I was embarrassed to admit I hadn't tried it yet! I picked up a tube at CVS and got to work.Overall, Sublime Glow has got to be one of the best gradual tanners on the market. It has a terrific texture that feels like a good body lotion instead of a sticky self tanner that never dries. It has the

Runway Beauty: BCBG
The look at BCBG was quite similar to what we saw at Lacoste, with a couple of variations: liquid eyeliner and a rosy nude mouth with no shimmer. Along with the "smeary eyes," soft rosy nudes are another emerging trend for fall. The BCBG face is easy to recreate; one staple you should definitely consider purchasing is Becca Lip & Cheek Creme in the new shade, Blossom. It works perfectly
