Motorola FLIPOUT dated for unlocked launch in August

The rather bonkers Motorola FLIPOUT, the bizarrely hinged Android phone which Motorola describes as a �Rotator QWERTY�, is coming to the UK via the SIM-free retailers very soon. Play.com has given the FLIPOUT a release date of August 11, with a �249 price tag attached to it.

For a quirky Android 2.1 phone that also doubles as a pocket conversation starter, that�s not a bad price. If you don�t mind 2.8? screens.
