The iPhone 5's release date may come as early as October, Steve Jobs hinted at the Apple press conference on Friday.
Rumours could suggest that the iPhone 5's release date will be brought forward to October.
Steve Jobs announced in the antennagate Apple press conference on Friday that the company would offer all iPhone 4 buyers a free case to help prevent signal loss caused by the antenna.
He explained that this deal would last until September 30.
Now the internet is alive with speculation about a new iPhone coming in the Autum.
It would make sense for Apple to rush out another iPhone following the iPhone 4 debacle, but as Apple's iPhone launches are normally reserved for June, it would seem a little out of place for the manufacturer.
