Verbatim company introduced a new portable external hard drive with a capacity of 640 GB. USB HDD from Verbatim is expected to be available in November for a suggested price of 5990 rubles.

Silver external hard drive from Verbatim made in the form factor 2.5-inch in size and weight similar to a PDA or smartphone. Portable hard drive weighs 157 grams with dimensions 135x85x21mm. As the producer, the new HDD is able to accommodate up to 1280 videos, 160000 music tracks or 290000 pictures.

Speed of 5400 revolutions per minute. Winchester is connected to a PC via a USB port and can transfer data at speeds up to 480 Mbps. From the same port is powered. The package includes utility Nero BackItUp 4 Essentials for data backup with the ability to do it on schedule.
