Samsung Electronics will use the map data Tele Atlas

Samsung Electronics Company and provider of spatial data - the company Tele Atlas, announced an agreement under which the South Korean company will use in their devices with a GPS navigation data from Tele Atlas. Currently, Tele Atlas database contains information on more than 24 million "points of interest" (POI), voice cards and visual extension of conventional maps in the form of three-dimensional objects of various sights, two-dimensional maps of cities and digital models of building facades.

Both companies also reported that they would continue to cooperate in the delivery of a variety of navigation products and solutions to determine the location.

Financial terms of the agreement have not been disclosed.
