The operator Comstar UTS announced that the total subscriber base of pay-TV services and broadband Internet access Group of Companies �Stream-TV�, administered by the �Comstar UTS�, reached 1.8 million users, including the number of subscribers services access to the Internet Group companies exceeded 200 thousand.
The rate of monthly revenue per user (ARPU) in 3 quarter of 2008 relative to the 3 quarter of 2007 on cable TV service increased by 17 per cent, to 120 rubles for the service, Internet access grew by 8 percent and amounted to 367 rubles.
As part of the uniform for the Group of companies �Stream-TV� marketing strategy during the summer of 2008 was introduced a unified federal system of tariff plans for pay-TV service and Internet access in all regions of presence. After 3 quarters of 2008, the number of subscribers of broadband services to Internet access - private individuals Group of Companies �Comstar UTS� without taking into account the subscriber base �Stream-TV� rose to 854 thousand.
