Yellow Sony Ericsson S500 now also cursed with bad keypad?

And I thought the yellow S500 was safe from this keypad breaking problem. The pics below show a yellow S500 with the same breaking of keys problem. So...is it the paint (as explained by SE) or is it some major design defect? I hope this problem doesn't show up with the W580.
