Honey Toast with Vanilla Ice Cream

I figure if I don't come to Shokudo for the rest of summer, I won't gain any more weight. Because I won't eat any more Honey Toast the size of your head...

...but it is such a delightful sight to see, isn't it? Bread (notice we got, as Shann would put it, "the BUTT end") buttered, honey, and ice cream. I don't think I could ever tire of this dessert (thought my waistline certainly is!)

Green Tea Shave Ice with Azuki Beans

The Green Tea Shave ice is on the lighter side, but still, this is like 10 billion Waiola large shave ices put together. No one should ingest this much ice in one sitting. The azuki beans are welcome addition and absolutely necessary to an otherwise boring dessert. Kudos to Justin for asking them to replace the vanilla ice cream with an extra scoop of azuki. And thank heavens there were four us to finish these two desserts!
