...that's what I am. An impulse purchase at the Made in Hawaii Festival this weekend left me with a dozen Maui onion sausages, 35 bags of animal cookies, and a TOWEL. The sausages I can justify: we'll eventually eat them all with eggs and rice for breakfast.
But the animal cookies? You see, I just wanted the towel because it was sooo cute. But in order to get the towel you had either a) buy two animal cookie 'pillow packs' at $5/pack (each pack has 15-20 bags of cookies)and get the towel for free OR b) buy just the towel for $5. Being so Chinese, I decided that buying the towel alone wouldn't be a very good bargain, so instead I bought the cookies! Of course the thought never occurred to me that 35 bags of animal cookies is a lot of cookies, and it wasn't until I unpacked the bags at home that I started to wonder, "how the heck will I finish all these cookies?" It's a good think I really like animal cookies, especially the ones made by Diamond Head Bakery. We got a good assortment of flavors: original, Maui sugar and cinnamon. Ginger is my favorite flavor, but they were out...oh well. I'll be pretty well cookie-stocked for a while!
And here's the towel! Isn't it darling? All those sea creatures depict the different cookie shapes! You've got Sharks (Mano), Octopus (He'e), Moonfish (Opah), Dolphins (Nai'a), and the Humpback Whale (Kohola)!
This is the best part: "We're Onolicious!"
