Perhaps anyone would think like I do.
Anyway, I believe the reason why keypads cracking in S500i/W580i is not because the green paint reaction whatsoever.
It's definitely not.
If it was, why the keypads crack always after we used it? Why don't they crack while in the box??
I'm sure it cracks because of the thinnest of the keypad plate and the design itself.
Look at this. The keypad plate is glued in its middle part to the bottom receptor.

So when you bend one key like this (say you press key 8, the key 9 will also be bended),

eventually the keypad will crack in the middle like this.

It really makes sense coz you simply cannot bend one thing that sticked in the middle with another object. And everytime you pressed a key, the next keypad(s) to the key is bended (coz they are joint together) until it eventually cracks around in the middle (coz the plate is very thin + it's glued in the middle part only + it's bended). That's why the crack never appears not around in the middle of the plate.
The solution is .. to change the keypad material with a stronger one. Or else.. change the design a bit: glue the whole bottom part of the plate or remove the joint between keypads. Though it will be very awkward to change a design after a phone been released.
