The Tangerini



Ingredients:
1 oz freshly squeezed tangerine juice
2 oz Champagne
3 fresh raspberries
1 martini or Champagne glass
1 skewer

Directions:
Pour the tangerine juice into the bottom of a martini or Champagne glass. Slowly pour in the Champagne. Skewer raspberries on a long pick and place in drink. Enjoy!

My thoughts:
This is a great twist on the classic bellini. Tangerines are in season this time of year and I think that their flavor compliments Champagne even better than peaches. The sweet-tartness of tangerine paired with bubbly Champagne creates a fruity drink that is not too sweet and is perfect for any celebration! The raspberry garnish is a fun touch that is reminiscent of a martini's trademark olives.
