A Blue Ribbon for Rose 31!
Le Labo's Rose 31 was just voted best fragrance in the Wallpaper* Design Awards 2007!A unique, masculine take on the rose, blended with woodsy and spicy notes, Rose 31 is actually part of Le Labo's men's collection, but of course can be worn by anyone. Like all the others in the line, it's fresh, unique, and interesting...and hand-compounded right in front of you when you buy it!If you haven't

Black Friday Stress Relief
If you're in NYC and out braving the Black Friday shopping crowds, stop by one of my favorite shops, Le Labo, for a little relief:"As an echo of the Buy Nothing Day which is an informal day of protest against consumerism, Le Labo decided to do the "SELL NOTHING DAY". Science Projects

Noses In The Air! Part 2
Day 2 of the Sniffapalooza was no less a whirlwind than Day 1:Bond No. 9 - This shop is such a treat. Owner Laurice Rahme was wonderfully gracious as usual, hosting us with a lovely brunch and a jazz duo (did anyone else think the sax player was hot?). We sampled from the lab bottles of Scent of Peace, Bond's new fragrance, due out next month. I swooned. Peace is quite different than the other
