�MTS the Ukraine� completed the first stage of the optimization of network

The operator of mobile connection �MTS the Ukraine� declared about the completion of the first stage of program on the optimization of network GSM in different regions of the Ukraine.

From the words of operator, within the framework the first stage of program on the optimization of equipment and service lives of the radio subsystem of GSM- network he completely replaced software by the subsystem of base stations in Crimean territorial administration (TU). The general capacity of network as a result increased and the quality of services was improved, and is also provide ford the essential savings of operating expenditures due to the decrease of a quantity of counters and as the result smaller than the consumption of electric power.

In the southern part of the Ukraine ([Dneprovskoe] and [Yuzhnoe] TU) the work on the transfer of load from the controllers of old type base stations is conducted on new type controllers. Also is conducted optimization and redistribution of a quantity of transceivers and [trafikovoy] load on the subsystem of base stations. Furthermore, in [Dneprovskiy] and [Yuzhn] TU is neglected the process of changing software on the subsystem of base stations, which, as company asserts, will make it possible to reach the same indices of the work of network as in Crimean TU.

The complete completion of works on the optimization of network GSM is planned in November 2010. Expected results:

* a decrease in the level of breaks to 16-21%;
* an increase in the level of the success of establishing connections on the average by 3%;
* an increase in the level of the success of [khendoverov] by 25-30%.
