(NYSE:MOT) introduced its WiMAX Evolution solution for operators to upgrade existing WiMAX 802.16e / 802.16e Enhanced networks to 802.16m or TD-LTE or to add LTE to their existing WiMAX networks. Customized for rapidly spreading 4G networks, Motorola�s enhanced WiMAX offering is based on a single RAN (Radio Access Network) solution that supports existing technology and provides operators with a cost-effective way to upgrade their network offerings, preserving capital and protecting investments.
