The European Commission may prohibit the sale of iPhone

The European Commission demanded that the company's official explanation of the explosions took place this summer phones iPhone. Similar cases have occurred in Britain, France and Germany. Apple has previously denied any involvement in these facts, claiming that the explosions took place under the influence of external pressure.

If the European Commission considers iPhone may be dangerous to the health of the user, then this will lead not only to a ban on further sales of the model, but also to the revocation of all previously sold units. But at the moment the representatives of the Commission are not sure of the need for such a step. Commissioner for Consumer Affairs Meglena Kuneva (Meglena Kuneva) particularly stressed that for such a decision need 100% confidence in the risk of the product. These words could serve as a consolation for Apple, but at the same time, Ms. Kuneva said that if necessary it will take strong measures to ensure the safety of EU citizens.
