Twenty years ago the company Nintendo released the first portable game console called Game Boy, which replaced the simple Nintendo Game & Watch (probably many of us remember the Soviet equivalent of the toys under the brand name "Consumer Electronics" - for example, "Oh, wait!"). Game Boy was equipped with a miniature black-and-white screen with a resolution 160h144 point supported stereo and feature GameLink. As of 2005, has sold more than 120 million devices in this series.

Were later released new versions of Game Boy - in 1996, came Game Boy Pocket size reduction, two years left Game Boy Color with color display. To show interest in some of the technical characteristics of the first Game Boy: a processor with clock frequency of 4 MHz, 8 kB of memory, 8 kB of video, 2.6 "screen with a resolution 160h144 points powered by two AAA batteries, size 124 76 23 mm and weight 394 grams.
