Fewer employees on unpaid leave at Taiwan science parks

The number of salaried employees on unpaid leave has halved at the three government-developed science parks in Taiwan, Hsinchu Science Park (HSP) in northern Taiwan, Central Taiwan Science Park (CTSP) and Southern Taiwan Science Park (STSP), according to the National Science Council.

Statistics show that the number of furloughed employees at the science parks has reduced to 44,000 currently from 108,000 in March.
