Ingredients
4 tbsp fried bengalgram dal/roasted dal
2 tsp grated coconut
Salt to taste
Bit of asafoetida
1 tsp oil
1/2 tsp mustard seeds
1/2 tsp blackgram dal
Few curry leaves
1 green chilli
Grind the dal, coconut, salt and green chillies together. Heat oil, add mustard seeds, blackgram dal, asafoetida and curry leaves. When it splutters add it to the chutney and mix well.
Serve with idli/dosa/upma.
