...and pick up a bag of these babies! I was at Whole Foods the other week when the creator of City Girl Country Girl cookies was giving out samples of her cookies. They are SOOOOOO GOOOD :) I sampled one. And then another. And for some reason I didn't buy a bag at the time.

Back of the bag for your reading pleasure...click on it if you need a bigger picture :)
But I couldn't get the cookies out of my head or heart. I kept thinking about them. And I kept blabbing on to Shann about them. Three weeks later on this quiet Tuesday night, I decided I needed, needed soooo badly, those cookies. So I walked 10 minutes to the Whole Foods on Houston and scoured the cookie aisle. Ah! There they were! Three flavors: chocolate chip, chocolate chip and almond, white chocolate cranberry and almond. Torn between the last two, I settled for the chocolate chip and almond. I be back to try the others.

First off, they're expensive! This bag cost over $9 (for 12 small cookies)...so you except they better be good. And they are. They are amaaazing. Super crunchy, not too sweet (no sugar, maple syrup is the only sweetener), and wonderfully light at the same time. They don't weigh you down the least bit. Only bummer is that is doesn't fall the in category of 'buttery' cookies cause canola oil is used. If someone combined this cookie with city bakery's chocolate chip cookies, you'd swoon and die from cookie ecstasy.
P.S.
Never mind that they aspire to be 'healthy' cookies - they are awesome by any standards!
